Merry Christmas

I want to wish you all the very best of holidays for you and your wonderful families.WE will celebrate with Faith and her family at her other grandmothers house. Ray and I have been busy working on Christmas things for the grandchildren and kids. It has been wonderful to have him involved too. He made a beautiful wreath adding off white muslin 3" squares to a straw wreath and splashing a few squares of red in it too. He did a great job,we did so many of those years ago and he remembered . I have been doing a lot of easy fleece throws for the grandchildren,you know those you use two pieces and fringe and tie. Sure does take alot of time but they are worth it and will keep those sweet ones warm. When I did my last post I mispelled where my son was going and he will be at Pope A.F.B. and it looks like he will be on his way home in another week unless the big guy changes his mind. Can't wait to have him back in the USA and with his sweet family.Ok coffee break is over and back to business and tieing these things, you know when you get fourteen grandchildren and one great one you are busy.I have been reading your blogs and I am sorry I haven't had much time to write comments but after the first of the year hopefully things will be a little more normal here(ha ha did I say normal) and I will be on the ball again. Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my blogging friends and families. We will beleaving shortly to go to our daughters for dinner. I have made a few contributions to take over too. I am so thankful for my family, first my hubby's cancer has not grown, prayers are so strong for him and yesterday we were on top of the world when we left the oncologist office.My cardio appointment went very well too. And to top this wonderful new, my osn is leaving Iraq and hopfully will be with his precious family intime for Christmas. He will be assigned to Polk AFB for a year. Yeah--that isn't too far a drive for us!!today I also wanted to share with you a couple of things I have been working on. First I finished the afghan for the young friend of mine who went to school with my daughter. She is a inspiration to us and is a cancer survivor.Next I took a class from the very talented Laurie Shifrin. If you ever have a chance to take a class from her please do-- you will learn and and really laugh and enjoy it. My quilt is the Mango Tango, wow bright colors too. It is still a work in progress as I wanted to finish that afghan. That afghans was so much fun I just learned to crochet while in Mn . visiting my friend Jill and she taught me. Thanks so much Jill, Love you girlfriend!!In closing i send many blessings and hugs to all, I promise to be a better bloggger, really I will!

Been to Minnesota

Hi to everyone, we have had the most wonderful week in Richmond,Mn. on Big Lake. We were the houseguests of our dear friend Jill. As most of you know I am a caregiver for my hubby who has cancer and a very severe heart problem that is not fixable. He loves to fish so up we went and oh such fun!! But of course I was spoiled too- Jill took me to Grubers Quilt Shop,and another neat little quilt shop that is located in the back of a newspaper print shoppe.We went to a WONDERFUL antique store and I could have stayed in there for hours. I bought a beautiful very old cabin quilt done out of old silks,hand stitched of course---love it!!!!!One night Jill came out with a little ball of yarn and a crochet hook and proceeded to teach me to do some stitches. Of course I could already do a chain stitch, but now look at me go--I bought some pretty baby yarn to make a much larger afghan for our great grandaughter Kennedi as she is growing so fast, will be the big one in December. I worked on it and on Thursday while I went out to play around for awhile, wandered into the Knit Shop in Cocoa Village and found some yummy pink marbled chunky yarn to do a small lap blanket for a sweet young friend of my daughter's and myself who has undergone the removal of both breasts from cancer then just had to have the ovaries out too. She went to school with MaryLisa and she is a ball of fire,so here I go on a crochet marathon.I am still working on my quilt for Ray and I too. Will post the pictures of our trip. The little red mustang convertible was a special surprise that I rented at the airport in Minn. the other pictures will be of Ray catching the first fish when we went out just after we got there. There is a picture of Jill driving her pontoon boat, it was lovely and very comfortable. A pic . of Ray fishing from the end of the dock while Jill and I took off for the stores.And of course the pics of my good treasures I bought. Hope you all enjoy, We sure did. Gifts and Hurrican Irene

We are lucky in Cocoa Beach Florida to have just alot of rain and wind from "Irene". We were spared, and are so thankful. Our hearts and prayers to the rest of the eastern coast that was in harms way and had so many problems.We rode out to the beach and in the midst of the storm there was a guy out there kite skying and when he came in was having alot of trouble tryin bring in the kite. The water was very rough . When we arrived home and got our mail I was so excited to see a package from my sweet friend Anne Heidi. She is so precious to our family. She sent me some beautiful fabrics and a really neat bag with the heart cut out I LOVE it.She included a neat pattern and the labels to make a sewing pouch that is on my table now to get started. A Fall Finish

Hello to all my friends. We are still here just been in the slow mode and not getting alot completed. Decided I had to get with the program so here is my Fall finish. Just found the binding material on my last visit to the LQS and it was the perfect choice.On the 21st of August Ray and I celebrated our anniversary by going out on the casino boat and then to Outback for dinner. Tumbler Project

Happy July 1. I decided that I would start spending at least 1 hour a day working on my tumbler quilt,then- maybe then I will finish it.Today I added the 4th row and cut out some more tumblers. It really is a busy quilt but after much consideration I am going to continue this way. It is for me and I love the 1930's fabric so much and so does hubby.We spent last weekend at my class reunion and it was wonderful to see my friends again and to be reacquainted with some new ones. Reunion

WEll my friends here we go off to my High School 50th Reunion. I have had so much fun chairing this event even though it has been alot of work. It will be in Boca Raton in South Florida even though I graduated from North Miami High. Looking forward to catching up wth some friends from long ago.

Now on the home front I am enjoying my new sewing abode so much. I have the room I need and the places to put things. I have been working with my emb. machine on some hand towels for the reunion. Also made two tops for baby quilts and I used the neatest froggy material. At this time my quilt machine is out of order and the guy hasn't shortened the table or have I had it serviced. Welcome to my New Abode

Hello my wonderful blogging friends. Thanks so much for bareing with me these last few months of trails and woes. Our office and sewing room are just about 100% completed. Some fine tuning and things on the walls but that will come in time and yes the quilt machine has to be added.Blood sweat and tears have gone in this adventure and I am very pleased for the most part. The office is great lots of room and very cheerful to work in.The beautiful green room is so sunny and bright with lots of windows and nice white cabinets to store things and the counters are great to sew on.My only problem is after adding all the counters and cabinets my 12 ft table for the quilt machine was way toooo big. I have a friend who is going to make it down to 10ft yes I will loose a little length in quilting but I believe I can still do up to 110" and that will be fine for me. I still think I would like that GEORGE machine from APQS but haven't convinced Ray of that YET!!! The room with the small hide a bed and rocking chair will be for Faith when she comes over and stays, it is still under construction by her. The next room is the room that was the office and now is a guest room and I love it , it is so peaceful!!The last picture is looking through my bedroom into the office , I decied to leave the large doorway open as I can use my wheelchair when needed and it relly makes everything look more open and fresh. There is a door going between the office and the sewing room that I can close off for privacy as well as one going into my bedroom from the hallway.Thanks for visiting me in my new abode and I hope to spend many happy hours playing again. For those of you who have know about the new scare we had the cardiologist is seeing me next week and will go over his findings about the blockage, I do know it is small and not able to have a stint at this time., but I do feel stronger each day. Lots of Electric!!!

I am getting so excited about the new sewing room and office. When the electric guy left he ask my hubby just what was I gonna do in there and Ray chuckled!! He then explanined that no quilter ever had too many sewing machines!! I have everything stacked and doubled stacked in another room awaitng the completion . I do know the tile is ordered, cabinets finished, dry wall going up Monday. The room is dried in and we had a big rain , no leaks I was very happy for that!We had a lovely Easter dinner over at my childrens father's house,great food and lots of chatting. Thought I would share a picture of Faith, boy oh boy is she growing up! Hope to use my Go cutter today and cut some more things out. I will be more than ready to sew when the room is done. I have decided to take my big quilt machine in for service and not sell it, already had a lady come by to see if I was still using it. SewingRoom and Office Construction

Hello my friends, Wanted to share a couple of the pictures that Ray took of the construction so you can see what we are doing to our little house. YES it willbe so nice to have the spare bedroom as it should be and tohave a computer?office willbe great-BUT------the very best to me is to have the room for my quilting and sewing. We will have added about 500 square ft accross the backof our house, lots of room to play in. I order the counters, and cabinets last week for the sewing room and the counter and the large book cases to go in the office. I will show you more as the progres. HOpe all is god for each of you. I have been trying to read some blogs each day. I will leave tomorrow for four days in St. Augustine to attend Grand Chapter for Easter Star. Hugs to all, Marie

Working Away

One of our LQS's is closing in April so a friend of mine went up with me-now I really didn't need anything but oh the goodies I came home with. Of course when we left there we had to go to our favorite LQS and it was so much fun, found some nice things to work on. I got out my trusty Go and cut some fabris and then decided I really needed to sew up some things that were bugging me. I had bought some college fleese a while back and wanted to make the grandkids some throws so yesterday while Nascar was on I was working away. I did five of them -- wow five finishes in one day I know they were not tough things but I really did them-What a great feeling. NOw on to the next project. Gee when you want construction to go fast it just goes slower so I am just going to try to relax (what does that mean?).My baby brother is coming into Port Canaveral on Wednesday with his sweet wife and they are on a crusie to somewhere and their fist stop is here. I get to go to the Port and pick them up for a few hours and bring them to my house for a visit, It will be so much fun. WEll off to get things going for MOnday. Tomorrow will be a little cleaning up for family visit.Have a beautiful Monday. Happy Birthday Faith and Ola who are 12 years old today!Faith is my grandaughter and Ola is the son of sweet bloger friend Anne Heidi in Norway. They spend some of there vacations in Cocoa Beach each year as she was our foreign exchange student in 1988 and she was in my son's class. What a small world, We meet now and our love of quilting and family is so great. Thanks for sharing your precious family with us!!
WE are waiting for the ct scan and Pet scan on Ray to be done to see what has changed over the past months.Waiting is not one of my better things to do.WE are watching the addition being put on our house and as they progress some more I will include the pictures. Sunny Day

Today is Sunday, the sun is shinning brightly, I have my Go set up on the bar n the kitchen as I am gonna be doing some serious cutting while the Nascar bunch is doing its thing!!Gotta love my races, I tell everyone do not call me as all you will get will be the answer machine.Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes.Now you all know that Ray has been in remission from his cancer for five(5) years. WEll he went on my birthday for his blood work and the next day his Dr. called himself and Ray's blood work was not good-all his number are very high,WE will be in his office on WEdnesday morning at 10:00. I have been up , down, and just plain all over the place in the mood department. Ray is doing all he can to keep himself busy too.My Go is gonna work to give me alot of cutouts for some baby quilts. NewQuilty Project

While I could get out back, thought I would show you what I am doing with my time-- I love my new GO CUTTER !! I am cutting the tumbling blocks out of repoduction fabrics and making a queen size quilt. It will be a very busy scrappy quilt but loved so much. I am not going to wait until my new room is up and finished I am in a go mode!! Tomorrow is my 68th birhday and in celebration of it I want to be a new and better gal-so what better way than to get on to my hand work and be productive.New ideas are flowing and it is great to feel this way again.Have a beautiful day and love you all!!Hugs

Big Room Addition

Hello from me to you all, sorry I have been out of touch, but I have been reading some blogs along the way.So much has been going on with me and my family.First of all thank you all who sent us well wishes for my son's travel to Iraq, he is there and doing his job. Ray is doing very well , but then I have had a few set-backs with my legs and ending up n the hospital with no circulation in the left one---VERY SCAREY!!!!!!So I take it easy and do just the things I need too. Our big excitement is we have had the large Fl. room that had not very good windows in it cut off from our house and the General Contractor is adding us a room the entire width of our house and it goes out about 17-18 ft. This will make an office behind our room, their will be a beautiful glass door going into it, that will house the desk and computers,etc. Now hold on----the other side of it will be my new sewing room/craft room. I am having nice counters alll around the room with cabinets and drawers under them . There will be several places for me to roll my chair up to counter for my sewing machine, serger and emb. machine. Talk about excitement, I am beside myself with joy.I now will do so much as I will be out of this little hallway that I am calling my sewing room and I just don't like to be in it. This Thursday I am going with a friend to the sewing exp in Lakeland, I can't wait to see all the new things.
Ray's niece is coming in April to buy my quilt machine and bind-all machine so that will give me now alot of options as to what I really want to do as far as finishing my quilts off. I am mulling a few things over in my head. I miss you all and I do think about blogging aften but just don't take the time like I should . God Bless you all. HUgs, Marie

A New Year Begins

We are back from our wonderful visit with my son and his precious family. It was so hard to leave them knowing He was deploying and it will be sometime before I see him, God's love will protect you my son!My sweet hubby has gone up to Ohio for a little while on some family matters, now what do you suppose I could get into--- YES I am cleaning out and sorting things in my sewing room. During the holidays I treated myself to the wonderful Go-Cutter. Now I am doing the things with my scraps to get more organized. Last night I thought maybe I should just sit and sew for a while and forget trying to be so fussy about my room sounds like a plan doesn't it? Have a grat day all. Hugs, Marie

A New Day

The last few weeks have flown by and I am glad they are over. We are about finished cleaning out that house of hers and the the big yard sale is June 5th.I am so looking forward to getting all this stuff off my porch and out of my garage, seems it manages to come here to be stored as no one else has room. The best news is my precious Faith made JV Cheerleading at her school!!!!!!!!! She is so happy and so are we. One of her best friends made it too. Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends. We have just returned from a Mother's day Ice Show which our grandaughter Faith was in, very beautiful, I love to watch her skate.We are going to dnner at the Outback with our daughter Mary and her family tonight.This has been a long week for us all cleaning out my mother's house and trying to put t hings to good use.I received a beautiful vase of Tulips from my son and his wife and a lovely text message from my other daughter in Ca.I think about one more week and the house will be finished and we can close it up and be done.Thank you all for the phone calls, cards and messages, they mean so much. TIME

Time is something I have lost this last week in my heart and life.With out too much life history for you,I was adopted somewhere around 3-6 months by my fathers parents who were the most wonderful parents in the world I was loved so much,I was truly blest. Now along with all of this I wasprivelidged to also have my birth mother knownto me and share my life. Even though she movedalot and didn't comeback into my life full time till a few years ago. She actually moved into my area. I talked to her a week ago on Saturdsay night about 7:00 or so. The next morning I received a call fromone of her friends whom she talked to each morning at 7:30 that she could not reach my mom, it is now 10 in the morning so I go to her house and find her and call 911- she had suffered a stroke on Saturday night. To not burden you with a long story-she was admited to ICU , many test,no responces and we had to put into hospice and she past away early Sunday morning May 2. I have no feelings, I am numbed still bu tgoing through the daily things I have to do . She would been 84 this week. Maybe after this week is finished and I have time to find myself I will be able to get back to the other t hings I love so much. I couldn't blog or think so I just have let everything go. The procedure is over and they couldn't do anything but go in and look around and then say sorry lady!!. So here I go on my on road!! Yesterday I cut out the backing for 8 placemats and the battting. First Wool Project

Here it is the day after the let down and I listened to my heart and got my boot straps up tighter and finished this pin cushion I had started last Saturday.Never before had I done any wool work so I was lost. Thanks Karen for the advice! I love it because I did it and it is called Summer Garden Pin Cushion by Bird Brain Designs. Now all my hand work is not just like the pattern but pretty close and I am tickled that I did it and I love it.Now I guess I can start something else after my procedure on Thursday where they will look for the blockages behind the knee. Not Good News

Sorry but I am really down in the dumps and do not have good news to tell you all about my appt. today with the ortho guy, He is refering me to yet another ortho man down south in our county, but isn't sure with the diabeties and all the other things against me that it is much use to replace the kneee and start over, which was my dream-- I sorta feel like someone defleated my bubble.Oh well I guess I just have to get my boot staps up and get myself going and do what ever the good Lord wants me to and be happy but right now it is just alot of tears-- I'll get over it in a few days but till then I don't realy feel much like doing anything. I Won!!

Blogging brings so much happiness into our lives, wonderful friendships, and great gifts too!!Last week I heard that I had won a gift from Terry at Tery's Treasures and also from Sharon at Red Geranium Cottage.Talk about the happy dance(if only I could dance).Yesterday Ray walked down to the mail box and came back with the mail and I saw a package and of course I was excited--it was from Terry and what a wonderful package--two pieces of fabric, some emb. floss, a neat Christmas pattern and a pair of stork sissors with a neat fob hanging from them,good for me so I won't loose them.Thank you so much Terry your always thinking of others and I think you so much.To bring you up to date, I will be seeing the orthopedic surgeon on Monday. I already know that the rotator cup is torn in my left shoulder from my last fall and he is also going to be looking at my left knee that is so out of whack from the fall too. Indeed that was the worst fall I have had. Don't know which will come first, his doings or the one to see about the blockage--hey wouldn't it be nice to get it all done at once since I have to be laid up for a while.On the sewing front-- I have preped a piece for redwork and today I am going to get a wool pin cushion together. I want lots of hand work since I won't be able to sit and sew at least I hope to prop myself up in bed and do something other than go crazy.That's all from sunny Florida. Oh My Goodness

Well-- what an opening-- no surgery--- family call the life squad on me Wednesday night and it was a long night at ER and then admitted.I got the real BAD Bug ,didn't know where to put my head as it was just pouring everywhere. I have NEVER had this so severe. I was dehydrated and a mess. They sent me home from hospital about 2 in the afternoon. So disappointed that I could not have the procedure done. Now will have to wait another couple of weeks. I am very weak and still have a bad headache. My sweet grandson Alex got sick about midnight and now I found out my friend Carolyn got sick last night. It hits hard and is not very nice to us. They have closed down alot of the nursinghomes in our area because of this same bug. Hope none of you experience this crud. Faith's Birthday Quilt

It is a beautiful day in sunny Florida. I am so happy I have 2 more of my grandchildren here with me. They arrived safely just a little while ago and have had lunch and are on their way to Cocoa Beach. I hope to hold them down a bit and get a couple of pictures before they leave.To bring you up to date I will go in hospital on Thursday so this will be my last post for a few days. I am happy to show you pictures of Faiths ice skating quilt that I made her for her birthday, I make bad pictures and I can see we really need a new camera but try to visualize this pink,purple and blue quilt and her being very happy with it.Happy Easter to all . NEWS

Tuesday we went to the Doctor and he will be doing a procedure on my leg somtime in the next two weeks. It is not a full time cure but will help me for a while. He can not use the main vein at this time as with my diabetes he will need it later. He will be going into both legs and removing any blockages he finds, which will be tricky as I have one full knee replacement in the worst leg and a partial in the other. I am excited to get this done and looking for great results. The kids just got home from the Disney cruise this morning and it is Faith's 11th birthday. She and her pen pal Ola (Anne Heidi's son) share this special day. Happy birthday Ola and have the best day!!! Will be putting the binding on her quilt today and post a picture. Yesterday I had a melt down in my sewing room, it is VERY small and nothing fits right in there so I just went off and now I feel better. Ray helped me move some stuff and do some little changes. He is such a saint with me and I am such a brat at times. Well off to fix breakfast then hopefully into the sewing closet(cause it is such a small room that is my pet name for the room) to work on quilt binding. HUgs, Marie

Hello all my wonderful friends in blogland.It is a beautiful Saturday and the sunshine is just wonderful. I have been in a funk for a while ---again you say ---yes-- need to get out of it and stay focused!! Just got home from my sweet hubby having his colonoscopy and this was his last test before the Dr. would release him cancer free. We have waited for 5 years to hear these special words and we are praising God and so excited toight. Just had to share with all my buddies.Many hugs, Marie

Today was a fantastic day, My daughter Mary, granddaughter Faith and I went to Universal Studio to The Hard Rock Area where I had the great pleasure of meeting Cindy from The Chicken Coop. We have been blogging the whole time that I have been blogging and she moved to Va. this summer to the same town that my son lives in and one of her sweet daughters goes to to school with my grandson, small world. We got to see Cindy's daughter Sara perform with her High School dance team and they won Nationals. So much excitement and they were great!!! I was so happy to meet them in person and have a short visit with them. Now when I go to Va. to see my son later in Spring I will hook up again with Cindy, can't wait. Mow on the quilting side I am ready to put Faith's ice skating quilt on the machine and do it. My sweet hubby will have his colenoscopy tomorrow so it will have to wait till at least Tuesday.

Morning,We had a beautiful weeekend with the 70's temperature and warm sunshine. I want to thank all of you for your thoughts about my physical health, it is an on going struggle that I will live with and I know I can do it. There is no medicine to help it but you know I have great hopes that someday with all the things they come up with that they will figure this one out too. My brother suffered many years and was in a chair the last years of his life and he was a great role modle for me, I miss him especially when I sorta get down but then you guys are always there to cheer me on--- THANKS so much for the encouragement along the road. I am going to sew on Faiths quilt for my little time up today so will close for now. I do see that if I do stay off of my legs more it is more comfty for me and the swelling is not as bad Yeah for that factor. Just have to learn to pace myself more. Have a great week. Hugs, Marie

Just Me

I am off my legs most of the time and trying to see if I DO follow the doctors advice if that will really help me at this time.The swelling seems more controlled by this and maybe the leg seizures too. I had to resign from some of the things that I belong to and that was not a pleasant thing to do as I had been very active most of this year in my Eastern Star Chapter.I try to sew a little then back to the recliner and it will take a lot longer to finish my quilts but if it helps me then I shall do it. there is not any medicine to treat the problem and it will continue to worsen in time, I have very little feeling in the left foot . Well enough of me. I have almost half of the ice skating quilt strips sewed . Hugs to all, Marie

Picture Piecing

Last wednesday I too a class at my LQS called Picture Piecing by Cynthia England. What a fun class!!You use freezer paper and work on the top of fabric instead of back. If you have a chance to learn this by all means do you will be amazed at how forgiving this type of piecing is if you make a mistake. We did this butterfly sample. Today is Valentine Day and it is a very quiet day in our home so I decided to make a black and red table runner and I actually did and finished it up. Yesterday I cut out all of the ice skating quilt for Faith so I will be working on that next.Our weather is a little cool but I will ake it over the ice and snow anyday. Big Finish

I am elated to have finished the quilt for Shaun Meadows. He is the special soldier that was wounded and lost both his legs one above and one below the knee. He has the most wonderful determanation . I understand that he is walking with his new legs and doing well.My son just sent me a book all about Combat Controlers --The title is CCT THE EYE OF THE STORM by Gene Adcock.My son went into the Air Force as a Combat Controler and had been through so much during his tours but he remains the most outstanding man that a Mother can be so very proud of.My next quilt will be started tomorrow and will be for my wonderful Faith. She will turn 11 on March 25th. Of course the theme will be Ice Skaters which is her first love.Here is a couple of pictures of my quilt for Shaun, hope you like it as much as I do.Happy Weekend to all. Hugs, Marie

Sunny Days

Yeah, I am finnally feeling much better and today, DH and I went for a walk and it felt so good!!We are going to start doing this each day that the weather permits.Now I am off to my sewing machine to finish adding the last two rows and then the sashing. After that it will be ready for my quilting machine and walla---- first big project of the year will be done. I'm on a time crunch as I want to be sure to have a complete finish for this month and pictured and posted and all that good stuff! Better run-- Hugs, Marie

We are still really under the weather here in our little house. I am on antibiotics but then DH is finnally going to the Dr. today. This has been a week from you know where. Really miss my sewing machine but don't feel like going in there and getting all the stuff out just yet. Our weather is warming up and what a relief. Yes I know you will hear us screaming about the heat this summer. Hope you all are out from under the blizzards ,etc. I am having to use DH's computer and it is so much more touchy than mine. They are coming on Saturday to do some re wireing in our home and then we will all be back on line yeah.Till then I will just be content with maybe a little look at a blog or two as all my favorites are marked on my computer but not his. Sicky Happens

We were on a roll then this darn cold weather hit us in sunny Florida and first Ray got the bug and I still kept going like the the bunny as I wasn't going to let nothing get in my way but he likes to share everything and this is not what you want to have shared!!!I can't get warm and I generally have it all over so won't bore you with the details. Now don't all fall over but the BIG choice I have made is to join OPAM group. I will be able to focus on a project each month and finish it plus others as the rules say. I really want to do this.Thanks Peg for working on getting this up again this year. What a beautiful season we have to celebrate and the love for all.We have had our grandaughter Faith for an overnighter . She baked special brownies and a homemade buttercream frosting out of the new cookbook I got her yesterday at Sam's something about Hersey Loves and that girl loves to cook. This morning she and I tried our hand at my girlfirends receipe for Rosette's. It was sorta fun but I think she got rather tired too. Papaw has taken her home and she can go Christmas shopping with Mom later today.I want to tell you about a special giveaway over at Irish Muses, Micki's giving away an Irish Christmas and you will love all the things. Be sure to visit her and get in on it too.I am going into the sewing room again and try to get some more finished. Special day for a Special Granddaughter

Today Faith is officially a 5th Grader!!!We started our morning out by going to breakfast with Papaw,Granny and Grammy. Then on the Merritt Island Christian School for the graduation and awards cermony. She received 5 awards this year. It was really nice to have my mom with us and she always enjoys anything what Faith does. Afterwards, Papaw took us to Dairy Queen.We are now back home and ready for a rest.
